Dr. Jeffrey Lee is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He has advanced post-graduate training in treating and diagnosing injuries, defects and diseases of the mouth, jaw, teeth, neck and gums. A main focus of an oral and maxillofacial surgeon is implant dentistry. Dr. Lee has extensive experience and training in that area in particular.
To become an oral surgeon, a dentist is required to complete four additional years of post-dental school training in a hospital-based residency program. Dr. Lee has completed a total of 11 years, including obtaining a Doctorate in Medicine (MD). He also received Fellowships in Cosmetic Surgery as well as jaw, arthroscopic TMJ and facial surgery, with special emphasis on facial and jaw reconstruction.
Dr. Lee has placed countless number of dental implants. Very few oral and maxillofacial surgeons can match the skill and artistic eye of Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee is one of the select few oral and maxillofacial surgeons certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). The ABOMS is recognized and approved by the Council on Dental Education of the American Dental Association and it is the certifying board for the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the United States. Their certification is achieved by surgeons like Dr. Lee who pass a rigorous examination to ensure that the highest standards are met.
